Co-Founder; Actor in The Turn of the Screw 2023

Acting, producing, composing, and sound designing for Chalk Circle’s first show challenged me to craft something that considered every aspect of the play at once. Working on The Turn of the Screw, I felt like a complete artist - more than just an actor or musician - and any barriers to creativity were demolished. I’ve never had more of myself spill out onstage, and not just because of the multiple characters I portrayed. My eyes were opened to a fuller picture of what it means to put a story - a strange and abstract one - in front of an audience.

Where is he now?

Since working on Turn of the Screw, my acting career has taken me back to Victorian England playing Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest and understudying the roles of Johnny Cash and John Carter Cash in The Ballad of Johnny and June at both La Jolla Playhouse and The Citadel in Edmonton, Canada. After starting 2025 playing the guy in Once, I’m picking up the guitar yet again for Cygnet’s reimagined production of Oklahoma! as Curly.
