Director for Constellations 2024
Hannah is an emerging director currently calling San Diego home and honored to direct Chalk Circle Collective's sophomore show. Immediately after directing Constellations she made her professional director debut in Houston, Texas this fall at Stages with Ms. Holmes and Ms. Watson - Apt 2B. She is a three-time member of the directing cohort at the John F. Kennedy Center and received a BFA in theatre from Sam Houston State University. Hannah is now the Producing Artistic Director at Backyard Renaissance in San Diego. Much gratitude to the CCC team of collaborators.
BIO: Hannah recently was on the directing teams for the world premieres of The Age of Innocence (The Old Globe) and The Little Fellow (Cygnet). Some of Hannah’s recent directing credits include Stage Kiss (director, Ocala Civic Theatre, Florida), The Beauty Queen of Leenane, How I Learned to Drive, August: Osage County, God of Carnage (Associate Director, Backyard Renaissance), Hay Fever (Director, Coronado Playhouse), Roe (Assistant Director, Stages Houston).
What’s happened since?
Hannah was awarded the Craig Noel for Best Director of a Play for her direction of Constellations. Also, Constellations was named Outstanding Dramatic Production. You can find her over at Backyard Renaissance as Producing Artistic Director.
